As a painter, I use my work to delve into the intricate relationships between humans and the natural world, exploring themes of climate change, ecology, and interconnectedness. Imagining a future when nature has reclaimed the Earth, leaving only a few surviving nomads to navigate a transformed and awe-inspiring world, I aim to capture in my paintings the terror and beauty, they would encounter as they search for guidance and sacred spaces.

Painting serves me as a coping mechanism for the environmental losses we face, by offering a glimpse of a possible future where nature thrives, and humans live in harmony with her. I would like to convey to my viewer this sense of hope amidst the reality of a dying world and spark conversations about our relationship with the natural world and our collective future.

I feel that through the act of painting I can express the more intangible aspects of our existence. With my process which eschews source materials and embraces spontaneity through initial monoprints, and by working on a painting until I could no longer replicate it, I find myself inching closer to the mysteries and connections within the physical and metaphysical worlds.
